The Club will be involved in another full programme of Curling as well as social events to keep everyone busy in this coming season.
The RCCC events include Stirlingshire Province and Forth Valley Area games. The club has also entered a team in the Rink Championship this season, the most competitive competition for clubs played at the Peak.
Annual Club competitons include matches with Crossmyloof, Borestone and Stirling and Torbrex plus the special Dunn Trophy competition with Kilsyth and Balfron Curling Clubs.
As one of eight clubs we have joined the Small Curling Clubs Alliance in a league and will play all of them twice in the season.
The club also runs training and coaching sessions from time to time. There is one scheduled before the start of the season to allow members to get rid of the summer rust and get back in the groove and to allow members to invite guests to try curling in a sociable atmosphere. .
The club is also supporting the new mixed doubles competition with its second competition using this new type of play after a very successful competition last season.
Please remember that the Provost's Trophy (Quaich) will be awarded to the curler who plays in the winning team in club competitions most often and includes taking part in the Points competition. Extra point are awarded for the top three finishers, including the Ladies champion.
Stirling Curling Group will continue to sponsor its own competitions that are open to everyone to enter. The club will enter a team in the Doune Rosebowl and the Daytime League this season.
